Bird movement en masse is a delight to photograph and I feel the motion in these scenes, taken on a recent trip to Sri Lanka.

In the desert, it’s hard to portray motion, but catching some sand sprayed up by the cars gives the feeling of movement.
3-He doesn’t want to fail this, its a long roll down that dune…
And he didn’t.. successful dune wall of death ride…
Desert motorsports are a big draw out in the UAE. Car and motorbike events form part of the winter calendar. Some motion shots from a recent one, my subject was the winner of his class.

The colors of the sea, sky and sand in that first image! Beyond gorgeous. I can’t help wondering what all that sand does to the vehicle engines, and the lungs of people stirring up it up.

I suspect the sand does a lot of damage to all who spend time working with it. When I first came here I did get recurring sore throats and eye problems.. must be used it now, car washing businesses do extremely well here!
