Early morning in May in Dubai, from my window, the rising sun reflects off one building’s windows on the trunk of the artificial islands of Palm Jumeirah.
My focus is on the intense glare on the windows. In the 6.06am picture, akin to a gold beacon of light, the reflections, and the blue hue and then the very visible differences from 6.06am to 6.30am with the silver effect as the light starts to change into the whiter light heralding the intense heat of the day.
I expect the windows are tinted, they usually are here, but it almost looks like there is a fire in the building in the earlier photo with the yellow glow of the sun. It makes you understand the rest of the day is going to be really hot!
Linking with Monday Window….drop in to check out this week’s windows….
It gets bright and hot early these days.

Excellent photos to capture the heat in the Gulf. After spending two years in Oman, I can almost feel it in your pictures. 🙂
