When I read the intro to the challenge this week, I spent a while thinking which shot in my photo library could be considered “Local” and encompass my locality and also would fit this challenge.
I failed to come up with a solid background.
I have zillions of shots of my home, another place from where I am now.
I have another zillion of shots from my home now, but where really is my locality?
I realized ( this one challenge made me think hard) that I’m rootless. My home is a place I go back to. I clean it, I tidy it, I love it to perfection and then I leave again.
Local for me, at this stage in my life, is on the road, traveling, seeing, loving it all….
I wouldn’t change it for the world….
Shot on the road in Al Wusta Governorate, Oman , many thousands of miles from home, heading somewhere….
Travels in the Middle East and beyond 
I agree that local is more a state of mind. Very thoughtful.
