Actually it was taken in my garden, I was having a gardening rest in the shade sitting on the stoop and I saw it come in and start to look for nectar amidst the plants, camera was close to leaning hand so I did get a sequence of lovely shots , only the second swallowtail I’ve seen in my garden!
